Are all your chairs BIFMA X5.1 certified?
Not all, but our best ones are.
We specifically certify our flagship models for the US and EU markets. If your project requires BIFMA-level performance, we’ll point you directly to our pre-certified series.
Can you certify custom (OEM) chair models?
Yes. We can design your custom offcie chair around applicable standards, conduct pre-production evaluations, and coordinate testing with qualified third-party laboratories.
Depending on your target market, testing may include ANSI/BIFMA X5.1, EN 1335, or other required standards.
What is the process for getting a new certification?
We don’t “guess” at the lab. We follow a proven 3-step validation:
Internal Lab Test: We torture-test the prototype against BIFMA/EN1335 standards in our own facility.
Refine & Re-test: If a material or design shows a weakness, we re-engineer it until it’s bulletproof.
Third-Party Execution: Once we know it will pass, we send it to SGS or TUV for the final, official certificate.
